For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.

Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it for me.

Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.

The Father himself loves you.

Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.

But go and learn what this means: I desire mercy, not sacrifice.

But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

And you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.

Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you.

As for those who hear my words but do not keep them, I do not condemn them. For I did not come to condemn the world, but to heal the world.
